Russian antitrust finds violations in Gazprom’s Sila Sibiri tender
MOSCOW, Dec 9 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has discovered multiple violations in gas giant Gazprom’s 156 billion ruble tender for construction of the Sila Sibiri (Power of Siberia) natural gas pipeline to China, and has sent a letter to the company, the service’s Director Igor Artemyev told reporters Wednesday.
“We have analyzed the tender, and I have sent a letter to (Gazprom CEO) Alexei Borisovich Miller with a very rough review of the tender, as it violated the whole legislation, including the law on competition…We did that several days ago. If he does not respond to it, we will think about our next steps,” Artemyev said.
